Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Laurel Lee (R-FL) spoke on the House Floor in support of H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act. This legislation will make improvements to American border security and combat illegal immigration by bolstering infrastructure and technology, increasing the number of Border Patrol agents, and strengthening current law to protect unaccompanied children from human trafficking, among others. This legislation passed the House 219-213.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Laurel Lee (R-FL) announced Miki Lin from Brandon High School as the winner of the 2023 Congressional Art Competition for Florida’s 15^th District. Her painting, Conceal, will hang in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. for the next year, along with artwork from other winners from congressional districts across the country.
