Rep. Laurel Lee Questions Witnesses on Bolstering American Energy Independence
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Laurel Lee (R-FL) participated in the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy hearing entitled, "Powering America’s Future: Unleashing American Energy." The purpose of this hearing was to hear from key stakeholders and experts and examine solutions to help unleash American energy, bring down prices, and support job creation within the U.S.
Congresswoman Lee questioned Mr. Brigham McCown, Senior Fellow and Director of the Initiative on American Energy Security at the Hudson Institute, regarding ways that America can decrease our reliance on foreign adversaries and invest in American energy in Florida and throughout our homeland.
