Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Congresswoman Laurel Lee (FL-15) was named Vice Chair of the House Administration Committee and Chair of the Subcommittee on Elections for the 119th Congress. The House Administration Committee manages the daily operations that keep the House of Representatives running smoothly, conducts oversight over legislative branch functions, and has jurisdiction over federal elections.

“It is an honor to be named the Vice Chair of the Committee on House Administration as well as the Chair of the Subcommittee on Elections. Prior to coming to Congress, I served as Florida’s Secretary of State where I oversaw the State’s elections and worked to bolster voter confidence and ensure accurate and secure elections for all Floridians,” said Rep. Laurel Lee. “I would like to thank Chairman Steil for his leadership on these important issues and his confidence in me to serve in these roles. I look forward to continuing our work to ensure election integrity in the 119th Congress.”

"I am excited to have Congresswoman Lee serve as the Vice Chair of the Committee on House Administration and Chair of the Subcommittee on Elections," said Chairman Steil. "Congresswoman Lee brings invaluable experience and knowledge to the Committee. We are eager for her to continue her excellent work for the American people."
