Rep. Laurel Lee Chairs First Hearing as Chair of the House Administration Subcommittee on Elections
Washington, D.C. – Today, House Administration Subcommittee on Elections Chair Laurel Lee (R-FL) delivered remarks at the Subcommittee on Elections hearing entitled “Faith in Elections: Success in the 2022 Midterm Elections.” The witnesses included Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, Supervisor of Elections from Seminole County, Florida, Chris Anderson, and President and Executive Director of the Lawyers’ Committee, Damon Hewitt.
“Together, through collaboration and commitment to effective policies and voter education, we can strengthen our nation's elections infrastructure, and work toward building confidence in the security of each state's elections, the strength of our infrastructure, and the integrity of our results,” said Rep. Laurel Lee in her opening remarks.
As the former Secretary of State for Florida and Chief Elections Official, Rep. Lee worked to bolster voter confidence and ensure accurate and secure elections.
